Spenta Kandawalla, LAc., helped build the organization and methodology of generative somatics while attending Chinese medicine school. Now primarily an acupuncturist and herbalist, she continues to offer limited somatic coaching, supervision, and teaching. She works at the intersection of chronic illness and the impacts of trauma and oppression. A queer Zoroastrian Pakistani who grew up in the Midwest, Spenta sees healing and organizing as two interwoven paths toward collective freedom — practices she has devoted a good amount of life to.
