Chris Lymbertos has been formally studying and practicing somatic methodology since 2008. She joined generative somatics in 2012 as the Deputy Director, transitioned into the role of Program Director in August of 2016, became the interim Executive Director in 2019, and is a gs teacher/trainer.

She has more than 40 years of experience working in Social Justice Non-Profit organizations. Alongside her professional/paid work, she is a volunteer activist and organizer committed to the liberation of her peoples both here and her homelands and in solidarity with other liberation struggles.

Since 2020, Chris has been working as a Consultant and Coach focusing on Embodied Leadership Development that is trauma informed, Supervision and Coaching support for Organizations and Movement Leaders, Vision and Strategy Development, Building Team Effectiveness and Strength, Transformative Justice, and Facilitating Organizational and Person Conflict.
