Becka was raised in Minneapolis by three generations of Midwest working-class radicals who knew how to organize and loved to laugh. For over 30 years, she has worked in movements as an organizer, facilitator, political educator, and somatic practitioner, integrating coaching, mediation, strategy, and creative media. Rooted in anti-violence work and the Indigenous sovereignty movement, Becka focuses on building movements that are strategic, relational, and sustained through humor, creativity, and practices that cultivate resilient relationships.
